Switching digibox

    Hey there,

    Im just after changing my digibox (ordinary sky satellite) becuase of a fault with the old one.

    But the new box is saying "This is the wrong card for the set top box". After ringing for well over an hour i wasn't able to find anything out.

    Does anybody know whats wrong here or what i have to do to fix this?

    I've heard that sky have to resend the card number to the box to verify it like..is that right?

    Any help would be great. Thanks.

    "Each Sky card has to be 'paired' to an individual digibox. When an active card is taken from one digibox and inserted in another they have to be 'paired' to allow access to all channels." - skydidgi.tv

    Only applies to premium channels. You have to ring sky and they ask for the Digibox details and card details

    Thanks guys, thats what i was afraid of :p

    Spent at least 2 and a half hours on the phone today trying to get to someone who knew what to do.Eventually was all done with one click and some details.. unbelievable how quick it was done yet how long i had to wait.

    Anyway thanks again for the help.
