X-box live questions

    Hi,

    Just got my X-box 360 and I'm thinking about getting X-box live. I've got NTL broadband (3MB connection) and wondering if there would be any Lag at that connection?

    Also do i need to by anything else to enable me to connect to Xbox live? Do i just plug the Cable in and away i go ? I know i have to sign up for a membership and stuff, But i've got 2 48 hour trails so i'll give them a go 1st.

    What are the best games to play online for the Xbox? I've got Fifa 07/Call of duty 3/ test drive unlimited/ and gears of war (soon)

    any info would be great

    You shouldn't have any problems with the connection on NTL. You will need to purchase an Xbox Live card which can be obtained from Ebay for about €33 if you look at another thread on this site. If you sign up and register an account you will have a Gold live account for 1 month.

    i set up two silver gamer tags for the kids via Here go to sign in and follow the steps .then used the recover gamertag option in the 360 and got the 1 month free gold trial upgrade automaticaly.

    i'm now with ntl also and connect direct to the ntl modem when i want to host and then if i just want to play on the 360 and also use the pc / laptop i plug the router into the modem and use the wireless usb adaptor for the 360 .
