Yahoo Messenger Crashing

Hey guys, My friend has a small problem with her yahoo messenger. Anytime shes tries to change her status from Available to Busy etc or even looking up peoples profiles it crashes. I tried to reinstall and didnt work. I downloaded it from two different websites and still the same thing happens. Any help would be…

Hey guys,

My friend has a small problem with her yahoo messenger. Anytime shes tries to change her status from Available to Busy etc or even looking up peoples profiles it crashes.

I tried to reinstall and didnt work. I downloaded it from two different websites and still the same thing happens.

Any help would be appreciated.

delete the "profile" folder in the c:\program files\yahoo messenenger folder

Before deleting the profiles folder, be sure to save any chat logs or message archives if you care about that sort of stuff.

god yeah never thought of that, because i delete that folder the whole time (paranioa)

anyway it will be in your bin if you need it
