restricted bikes

    I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the factory restricted cbr 600.ie model numbers etc.because when i rang up bikeworld they said they were impossible to get secondhand and that a new one is 10 grand or sumthing.does anyone think it would be worth my while ringing up english dealers to see if they could locate a secondhand 1.also does anyones know of any other factory restricted bikes like this.i want a superbike i dont like the bandits etc.thanks David

    (Im pretty sure the aon guy said it was group 5 like the bandit can anyone confirm this)

    Yeah, I have a FR SV650 and it is group 5.

    There is a Honda CBF600F which comes FR, I am not sure about the CBR, but if you ring some of the Honda dealers they will tell you.

    The FR bikes do hold their value. When I was looking at the SV, I looked at a FR Kawasaki ZX636. Beautiful bike but entirely pointless restricted.

    yeah the cbr600f can be got as factory restricted and are available second hand but chances are you wont find one as they are like gold dust, I spent about 6 months last year looking for 1 and had no joy,there are a fer factory restricted gsxrs on BBG if you are interested
