That Brian O'Driscoll wore on Sunday versus the Aran Islands.

Could any of you esteemed rugby types point me in the right direction as to what they are and where would I get them. I have lost many is the fine toenail to jack frost and by christ I vow none shall be lost this year. The egregious Brian O'Driscoll could be the man to hel me.

Aye. Indeed they were. Tried Elverys. The till spastics looked confused and irritable so they were no help.

By the way people who work in shops in Dublin are thick, ignorant, stupid arseholes. Bring back standards in customer service, it is not like the stuff is free in shops.

They're not stupid, they just hate their jobs and their crappy pay. What are the black things anyway?

I think they are just normal socks you are talking about if I'm reading this correctly, except where the sole of the sock might normally be white or the generic colour of the sock it is black instead and has double padding on it. Could these be what you are after?

GDM: Don't know for sure, thought you Rugby boffins would know.

Shoutman: I dunno. Driscoll pegged his booties at the Landsdowne faithful and walked around the pitch. He was wearing the standard Irish sock and the black yokes looked like skins that were pulled over the sole and around the toes and heel.

Any of ye know Drico? Ask him. Or give me his bebo address. I'll buy ye a pint whenever soccer is played in Thomand or Hell freezes over, whenever is sooner. Ha Ha!!

They're just the new Ireland socks with a black footing instead of green or white. They're designed to keep the foot cooler. Nothing pulled over the socks or anything.

hold on a sec here, if you dont know what you're lookin for, and the shop dont have them, how do you expect assistants to know what this "phantom" foot thnig is?

I think you're wasting your time.

The OP doesn't know what he's looking for and the description is pretty poor so nobody here seems to know either.
