Webcam for Mac

Hi guys. Not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes. Anyone recommend a webcam for a Powerbook running Tiger. I figured these days with USB that all peripherals worked with Mac/PC no problem, but every webcam I've seen has specified Windows XP/2000. I don't need anything fancy, it's purely for Skype. Is the ludicrously expensive iSight the only one for Mac? Thanks for any help.

There is a number of usb webcams that will work on Macs check out Macam,
http://webcam-osx.sourceforge.net/. There you'll find an extensive list of cams that work and don't work.

    Hope this helps!

isights are expensive but there must be a few on sale around the place, now that so many people are upgrading to imacs and macbooks which have built in isight.
