    Hi all,

I was wondering as you do about renting dvds/games online now as opposed to buying them online or in shops and was looking for good websites that would suit.

I have seen moviestar.ie and it seems ok, has anyone any feedback from this particular website. Or indeed any other info on others would be great.

    Thanks

Have a look in Bargain Alerts / do a search.
    In particular, http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2054980858

... and someone moves it as I hit reply... Nicely done :)

    I can't recommend screenclick.ie enough.

You fill out a wishlist of dvds, and they send out the first available one to you. You keep it for as long as you like. When you're done, you send it back (in a prepaid envelope provided by them), and they send you out your next dvd.

They have different levels of subscription, to allow you more than one dvd at a time.

I've been using it since changing to 02 a few months back. I got a free trial, which ends at Christmas.

    K.

I am using Screenclick and Moviestar at the moment.

Moviestar is by far the better.

My Screenclick trial ends at the end of the year.

I have a few weeks remaining on my Moviestar trial.

I will ditch the Screenclick as soon as trial ends. Turn around times are slow and always receive DVDs that are way down my list.

As for Moviestar, turn around much quicker and always get DVDs from top of my list.

I plan to stay with Moviestar after trial ends.

BTW, if you do take up trial use "METRO" as promotion code for 6 week trial and also opt for 3 DVDs at a time to maximise benefit.
