Looking for a 'LADIES' Coat

Ok, this is going to be difficult to describe, as I can't find a picture anywhere online.
Basically, what I am looking for is a Victorian style Ladies coat, that has been slightly modernised.
    "WTF?? " I you say.....

Well the other day I saw this girl on the buss, she was wearing a black coat, that came to the knee. The upper part of the coat looked very 'corset' like,(it had long black sleeves, a high neck, no collar, and was very slimming on the waist) and the bottom part of the coat was 'skirt' like, in that it didn't just go straight down, there was more material in the bottom half which gave it had a very slightly pleated effect, so that it puffs out, just slightly. (resembling a skirt).

I know my description is very vague, and I am sorry I didn't just get up and ask the girl where she bought it... but has anyone seen anything like this?

Sorry Mrs Doyle, when I saw the title with LADIES in caps, I immediately thought of the two "ladies" in Little Britain. :D

Ha ha ha, sorry about that.
The reason I put 'ladies' in caps is because as soon as I saw it I thought to myself, "Wow, that's a very Lady Like kind of coat", and I have been describing it as a 'LADIES' coat ever since.
I am thinking maybe it is vintage, because I haven't seen to many of them around, maybe 2 or 3 at most.

They have something very similar to what you're descrcibing in the Peter O'Brien collection for A-Wear. THe coat has some fancy stuff round the hem at the bottom - kind of hard to describe. Grafton st and Henry St A-Wear both have them
