I thought Band Camp was better than American Wedding. Wedding was a really awful addition, and I absolutely love the first two.

The first 3 films were very funny.
Band Camp has no connection to the first 3 films bar a few minor actors.
    Different writers,directors etc.
    It was brutal garbage.
Just a cheap shot at cashing in on the name.

The third film showed a significant drop in quality over the first two. Band Camp had a far higher laugh rate than Wedding, even if it lacked any of the heart that made the first two films so good. Having ruined the Stifler character in the third film, they managed to get a pretty good performance out of Tad Hilgenbrink. The film is muck, sure... But it was more watchable in my estimation than the third Pie film, largely because the expectations were lower. As far as cheap, straight to DVD, crude comedies go, it was perfectly acceptable.

American wedding was alright but almost as far removed from the first two as Band Camp was. Band Camp though, I have to say was infinitely better then even my highest expectations would have led me to believe. Not a bad film at all, better then even some of the higher rate 'comedies' being released these days.

1 is one of the great comedys of all time............2 good but not great
    3 only ok.........band cmap =terrible

also is Eugene Levy in this one?they have wasted him since the 1st one........

Just co-wrote and starred in For Your Consideration with his friend Christopher Guest. He's been in four films in 2006, that's pretty reasonable going (two of them were voice over work, and one was straight to DVD, but it's work none the less).

Did anyone else see Levy in 'The Man' with Samuel L Jackson - and like it? I thought it was brilliant but most other people I know who've seen it considered it was crap of the highest order, including several people on boards.

Some of it was very strong, some was pretty weak. Overall it kept me entertained though, I didn't feel i'd wasted my time.
