Alternatives to Gtalkr/Meebo

Hi there, My friends company have blocked acces to GMail chat and I'm looking for an alternative web-based client that can connect as a result, sorta like Meebo, or Gtalkr. Meebo is also blocked and Gtalkr has been taken off the net after the creators were hired by Google.

You can use GAIM as a client, can get it directly from the gaim website or use the portable apps version, just google it
