Had a sky+ install a few days ago and since then i had to re-tune the tv's in the other bedrooms as the signal is different? Is this really the case? I also see the picture on the other tv's and also on the tv in my room with the magic eye is also bad picture too?

My situation is complicated as i have an old analogue BBC aerial too with an amplifier.

Everything was grand before the sky+ box and all the older boxes before in past years but now things are poor.

I also re-set the RF output to allow use of the magic eye and the magic eye won't work too? (i called the installer twice and he is too busy to help me).

Please i would really appreciate any advise or tips out there. Sorry for writing this hastily i know it's all over the place.

Right, sounds to me like your Sky TVLink distribution isn't receiving the voltage from the Sky+ box, and is thus not working.

Is there a chance that the feed to the other rooms is NOT plugged into the RF2 port on the back of the Sky+ box? As RF2 is where the wire must be for voltage and TVlink.

    Thanks for your interest.

I sorted it out all on my own today.

I had to switch around the cables as they were installed the wrong way around and in order to receive the sky signal i had to adjust a setting on the digibox in the expert mode (this is the same mode as where you adjust the RF output settings).

    ;)
