How many hours per day do you listen to your music player

I just attended a lecture on the long-term effects on prolonged listening to an mp3 player on high volume (when I say long, I'm talking about only 70 dB not much). :eek:

I got me thinking; I am an mp3 addict; when it comes to listening, I could spend 5 or 6 hours with earphones in my ear. This could ruin my hearing

I don't want to scare people, but it is an interesting survey for other boardsies

it varys much for me sometimes I would just listen to it for just 10min a day on my walk to and from school. the max would probaly be about 2hours, I like music, but if I have earphones in my ear I can't hear what people say so unfortuntly I don't listen much, most of my music comes from speakers.
but that damage ear thingy wouldn't effect me anyway even if I listened to music from earphones 6h a day as I have my creative at an average of about 12 out of 25.

listen while cycling to and from college. listen when I'm driving in the car and then I listen just sitting in my room reading or whatever

Generally, 3 to 6 hours, but sometimes more. Travel, walking from lecture to lecture, study in the library, study at home... etc.
