Ive been using Winamp for nearly ten years across three systems without a hitch. Until now that is. I decided to update to the newest version of the program after it had been nagging me about one being released. (havent got it blocked with my firewall as i use last.fm)

To listen, i select my music folder and put it on shuffle. Now for some reason, when I select this folder, Winamp crashes. It'll select smaller folders and play them, just not this one. I'm putting it down to its size, which is about 35gb or so. Yet the last version never had this problem.

Anyone else experiencing this? I've tried a fresh install a couple of times but it's not working. Might just try and hunt down the version i had installed previously.

Well I've gone back to 5.08 and it works perfectly now. ;)

*mental note; don't bother updating anything unless its actually broken*
