    Hello all tournament event runners,

If you would like to run satellites to the IPC 4-7th Jan Citywest Dublin, please email info@pokerevents.ie.

The demand for satellites to the main event €1500 is huge.

    Regards

    Stephen

How many runners do you think will turn up for the Main Event, and please be realistic with your answer, as I am not too fond of reading about the 300 runners expected tournaments that get 150 runners.

How many tickets given away so far? How many tickets roughly are expected to be given away between now and then?

    Thanks.

    Hello 5starpool,

The IPC 2006 last Jan as I'm sure you will remember that there was 391 players in the main event. So would the same number would be a realistic guesstimate?

There are a number of satellites available between now and the 5th Jan. We are hoping to give as many players as possible a chance to play The IPC through winning satellites. This is why we are requesting tournament organizers, who wish to give their players a opportunity to qualify for a lower stake, to contact us.

Stephen, pm The_Flyer , he is involved in the Mayfair card club in arklow and ran a qualifier to the irish open last year. Not sure how often he checks threads though so PM is best option.

    Thanks ditpoker,

Do you think the students in DIT would be interested in playing for a ticket?

very much so, but we run 5 euro rebuy games and 15 freezeouts, we'd never get near a ticket. what are the side games? we ran sats to the irish open 300 game last year and got 2 tickets and we ran a sat to the 200 boards game in the SE and got 2 tickets. anything in the 200-300 range?

    ditpoker,

    Our support events are

    6th Jan 2006 €750 + €75 start time at 17.00

    7th Jan 2006 €500 + €50 start time at 15.00

I'm not sure if you could cater for these but there is the Mega Satellites on the 4th & 5th which 1 in 5 players will qualify for the IPC.

Think about it and PM me or email info@pokerevents.ie

    Regards

    Stephen
