Weekend in Lahinch

Hi, I was wondering if anyone new of any good pubs/clubs that might have good music or live gigs in Lahinch on the weekend of the 8th & 9th of December. There are a few of us heading down from Galway to have a laugh & a few beers

I've spent a couple of crazy weeks in Lahinch over the years. Last time I was there was about a year ago. There's only 2 clubs (one was bad and the other was terrible), quite a few good pubs though and everythings within 2 mins of each other so you can look around and suss it out easy enough.

Can't remember many names though. O'Looney's does a great pint and they have bands there sometimes. Pretty quiet though.

An Proinnteach does a lot of gigs (although I'm not even sure if it's still open).

You'll find something easy enough though.

Lahinch is a good spot. Better in the summer though when swimming/surfing won't give you hypothermia.

The Cornerstone, Kennys and the 19th are the best pubs. The nightclub draws a young crowd but you should get late drink in any of the hotel bars. Mrs O Briens will probarbly have some sort of live music.

if your staying in hostels beware!!
i stayed there a few years ago and got bitten by bedbugs all over. not fun.
and iv heard of other people who got bitten too.
pubs are definatly good though.
