I'd say upgrade your graphics card and THEN
    FEAR
    Oblivion
    HL2
    Company of Heros
    Battlefield 2

I have a 6800gto and FEAR, HL2 and Company of Heroes runs fine on pretty high enough settings. I'd add Red Orchestra Ostfront if your into FPS's. Its available on steam for feck all.

Give Call Of Juarez a go, it's rather spiffy.

I only got the pc a week ago. I'm not updating the gfx yet!

I'm sure the games will run fine. So my list so far is:

    Company of Heroes
Medievil Total War (I think that's Medievil II?)
    Counterstrike:Source
    Half-Life II
    KOTOR

Space Rangers 2 is one of the finest PC games I've played in the past few years. Its genre is... um... space trading/exploration, RPG, RTS, text adventure, shoot 'em up all in glorious 2D! I'm not sure where you'd get a copy now; I got mine through play.com.

hello there, very similar request so jumping onto this thread

again, new pc on the way with 22" widescreen so want to max the potential in waiting, as a background as far as I'm concerned FarCry is the greatest FPS, really liked the jungle and brightness of it, only interested in FPS, been absent from gaming for a year or so so I already have HL2 and FEAR sitting here beside me to be played, getting a lend of these and hence my similar request

I want an online game I can pop into the odd time, as I'm getting a lend of the above games their online option is not available to me, so recommend me a FREE on-line game, free asin I don't have to pay per play or any sub etc, Day of Defeat seems the only option I've found, anymore

Oh, will check out Co of heroes and gagging for Crysis

As said before, Red Orchestra Ostfront is a great FPS with a very rewarding learning curve and is only about $20 on Steam.

Far Cry.....great game and visuals plus its Budget now for bout €13 or so i think. (Surprised it hasnt been recommended by more people.)

Command & Conquer box set is great value for an RTS fan (particularly if you don't own many of the original games.)
