    Hi Guys,

I know there have been a few threads about Vegas hotels here but looking for slightly different criteria.

Looking for a hotel for a few days stopping over while on honeymoon so its going to have to be a nice hotel, close to the main action on the strip.

Is it an insta call with The Bellagio?

Monte Carlo is worth a sniff.

Aladdin was where i stayed on mine. On the strip and a decent mall in it. We paid about 400 odd for a week in aug. She booked online somewhere, saved a bit.

Caesars Palace either, slap bang in the middle of the Strip. Less pricy than the Belagio or Wynn, but still pretty fancy.

If money isn't a real issue then the Bellagio or the Wynn would be the places to stay.
Next on the list would be the Venetian or Caesars.

But if money is somewhat of an issue then the MGM is by far the nicest/swankiest of the moderately priced hotels. ($159 per room per night I think).

the prices depend on when you arrive if you dont book before hand. it can change hour to hour depending on demand. when i was there bellagio or wynn would probably be the nicest to take the misses to. also nice poker rooms in both

Also, you're better off ringing the reservations people at whatever hotel you choose to book your room, you will likely get a discount compared to booking over the internet.

Yes, the Bellagio and the Venetian are the top luxury hotels and both are kind of couple/family orientated. The Venetian is suite only. Make sure to let them know your on your honeymoon. Nearly all the hotels along the strip are top class but these two are a peg above the rest. If money was no object I'd go for a villa at the Venetian, about $6000 a night. However they have never been rented out, they've only ever been comped to highrollers.

    Have a look at vegas.com

I've never tried this so i don't know if it's true or not, but George Hook gave it as some advice about traveling to vegas!

When booking your room, ask for a room with problems. Not big problems, small things like a broken tv(you're not going to be watching it anyway!). The hotels don't offer these rooms since they're under maintinance so they'll charge rediculiously low prices.

Again, could be a load of bull, but i'm trying it whenever i go.

This mightn't help you much for the honeymoon, but someone might find it useful.
