    Hi,

I'm fairly new to Golf, and luckily there's a Driving Range beside my new house.

I'm looking advice on what clubs to buy, I've no interest yet in playing golf, just hitting the ball on a range :)

What clubs do I require, I'd like a big head driver and maybe an Iron/Hybird.

Any particular brands, size, etc to look for

    Any good stores online ?

    How much to pay ?

    Thanks

I can't really comment for buying clubs online, I'd be a little wary to be honest. But if you just want a couple of clubs to go a smack a few balls at the driving range, get yourself into McGurks (Blanchardstown and other places) or some place similar. You'll get clubs for half nothing in McGurks. They have a load of relatively cheap 'big-head' drivers. I got a Wilson on in there a few months back for about €45 and it's grand.

I'd reccommend that you get a driver, 5-Wood, 6-iron and a 9-iron. That'll give you a feel for a few clubs from the range of clubs that you'd have in a golf bag. Once you start hitting a few balls, you might get to like it very much!

If you're not too serious about it, I'd say you'd manage to get the above for close to €100, maybe a bit more. You're not going to want to buy quality clubs like.
