    Hi all,
I'm deciding to treat myself to 2 new clubs for XMAS. Total budget of €300.
Here's my bag at the moment-

irons - taylor made rac os (5-sw)
    driver-Ping G5
    Putter-Odyssey 2 ball

Obviously there's a major gap between driver and 5 iron so im looking at getting some sort of hybrid.
Also, i'd like to get some sort of lob wedge also.

    Any recommendations?
    Cheers
    Kifi

Seeing as you've already got the G5 Driver in your bag, then ya should probably get yourself the G5 hybrid (19* or 22*) - unoriginal idea maybe, but makes most sense...

Most people seem to agree that Cleveland are the way to go when it comes to Wedges... Don't have one myself but a mate has 3 or 4 in his bag of various lofts and is very handy with them. They give alot of action on the greens too.

I'd guess that you could pick up the two clubs above for €300 or less at this time of year.

If you are willing to buy online you should check out the 2006 Mizuno Fli Hi hybrid/utility clubs. They are going pretty cheap(online) and look like a really nice club too. You could pick one up for less than 100eur shipped. Mizuno do some purdy wedges too.

I would go for an excellent wedge. Maybe a Cleveland. Then a matching hybrid for your G5.

Oh, and a very good umbrella!!! :D

    Merry Christmas.
