wanted cookie recipes

i was trying out some oatmeal cookie recipes over the weekend but they just didn't seem to taste or cook right. some came out crispy but overall there was a strong taste of suger off them. think i used about 9 oz or there abouts. anyhow was woundering if anyone has a recipe for ones that don't come out crispy when u bake…
