    cerberus ftp server is free
filezilla can then be used for free to connect to it.

make sure you open ports in your firewall and router

TBH, and no disrespect intended to unnameduser, the fact that (s)he is asking these questions suggests that (s)he may not be aware of the security implications of such an action.

I'd also like to point out unless you have a static IP (One that doesn't change every time you connect) your going to need some other progs.

The names of which escape me for the moment.

www.orb.com is useful for accessing media files and pretty easy to set up, haven't used it too much but seemed to work well when I tried it before. Should beable to access normal documents on the pc too
