    hi, just to let you know if you weren't aware that Darren Clarke is signing copies of his new book "Heroes All"(about the Ryder Cup and his tragic year with his late wife Heather) in easons(o'connell st) on thursday 30th November, around 12 or 1.

    He said 1pm on the Late Late last Friday.

    BTW, read yesterday that Monty was quoted as saying that Clarke was in no condition to play on the Friday afternoon after completing the morning fourball. Monty said Clarke was in some state in the locker room, drained with the emotion of that morning's play, and that the sensible decision was to rest him up.

    massive queue was delighted he got a good turnout, thoroughly nice bloke, and very polite to babbling strangers.
