Multiroom or Sky+?

Customer of $ky for last 8 years and looking at installing second digibox (have a FTV box already) to prevent usual clashes between younger members of family..!
Anyhow the options appear to be:
    1. Multiroom for an extra €15/pm on top of current family sub €30
+ box + install (not sure of these latter 2 prices). Makes a monthly outlay of €45/pm
    2. Go for this current "Free" Sky+ deal i.e. Free Sky+ and multiroom (€15) and if I upgrade my normal sub to sat 2 premium packages (€50) I wont have to pay €15/pm for Sky+ option. Makes a monthly outlay of €65/pm.

So the questions I have are:
    1. Is Sky+ worth the extra €20/pm (Ok I know I can get movies or Sport but realistically am liable to watch neither)?
    2. After 12 month? (contract) must I continue paying €15/pm to $ky for the privilege of using their Sky+ facility?
    3. If I downgrade back to family sub with multiroom I presume Sky+ box will only operate as normal digibox ie lose PVR facility etc...

    Advice / suggestions appreciated...

Without Sky+ sub it is just a receiver, no recording. It won't record other channels either. It's a discracefull exploitation of monopoly.

Persaude kids to watch BBC/ITV and get aerial for Irish TV?

There is no famly sub anymore, just 2, 4 or 6 mix packs. JCheck if you are best package for you.

Why pay over €150 a year for Sport etc you won't watch? It could buy up to 25 budget price DVDs, 2 a month.
