Yes I actually made it out last night, I hadn't played since the change to freezeout, great value, great venue decent dealers.

Awful standard of play which is great to see! ;)

The usuall moan which I'm sure you're tired of hearing the reg fee could be dropped to 10e

    Hello ntlbell,

I'm gald you enjoyed the tournament last night. And like the changes we have put in place to do our best to give you 'great value', 'great venue' and 'decent dealers' (as you put it :) ).

With regard to the 'usual moan' we cannot reduce this as our weekly tournaments as close to the breakeven point as possible. You need to consider the costs involved in running the night. Staff, room rental, finger food are essential parts of making the night enjoyable for everyone. Without any or cut backs on these, we would not be able to provide you (the players) a proper service.

We wish we could reduce the reg. fee but its not viable. We want to provide you with a great tournament!

I'm glad you enjoyed last night and will see you next week

    Regards

    Stephen

    Hi Stephen,

I also enjoyed the game last week and found it to be good value, I didnt mine the reg to much, but I would expect the food to be a little better, fresh sandwich would be nice and a few wedges or something with chicken, its ok, but far from good.

Besides that, dealers are great, good craic and will be back.

Also, it would be nice to get the offer of tickets or prize money, as you restricted the crowd by only given tickets to players who already won them or can't make it to later events.

    Thanks Neill,

Will bare the ice bergs in mind... It is an official smoking area in the Red Cow (ashtray provided) so we'll just have to ask that people close over the doors while they are outside. Pete and myself will pay more attention to this over the next few weeks

    Thanks for the feedback!

    Regards

Great tournament stephen i was delighted to take it down, but was a bit confused with the payout structure, 2nd place actually got more cash than 1st place i know the ticket was there for 1st but surprised that 2nd got more cash. Great tournament and structure was very good but it did become a bit of a crap shoot on the final table. Cheers to the Waterford boys for the support on the final table.

    Hello Keith

Congrads on taking down The Red Cow and welcome to The IPC Main Event. I'm glad you enjoyed the tournament.

If we were to give both 1st and 2nd the same cash on that particular night we would had a difference of (€1500 - €300) €1200 which was just a little to much so we gave 2nd a little extra cash to reduce the step.

Hope to see you over the next few weeks, (two tickets is always better then one). But if I don't I'll see you in City West.

    Regards

    Stephen
