First post in this forum but I just wanted to get peoples opinions of Nu-Centz?

I first heard them on YouTube with the Gerrup outa Dat video but after a quick Google I've also managed to listen to 'Down in the Dodder' and 'Urban Intelligence Diss'.

I really liked the tune and rap for Urban... and while I like a lot of Down in the Dodder the chorus bit just goes on a bit too long for my liking.

Anyone know where I can listen to more of their stuff? They do seem pretty good but I'd need to hear more before forming a fuller opinion. What do you guys think?

I know I run the risk of starting some kind of flame war thing here between 'rivals' by asking for opinions but if I can get a few objective opinions that would be cool

i reckon he's by far the best irish rapper around at the moment, although i haven't delved too much into that area as it doesn't really interest me too much, and the amounth of pure ****e artists that need to be sifted through to find a gem really isn't worth it.
not a fan of nuie going down the 15 year old crowd-pleasing route he seems to be taking.

Ya have to give him his dues, hes good! It doesn't matter what age group he targets, hes got the skillz which is all dat matters really!

good amateur hip hop - gerrup out of dat amanged to say an awful lot about ireland in a pretty amusing fashion...

will need to hear much much more... but it's nice to hear people writing about what they know.

I think the posh lad is Raw soul..

He's from westmeath so I couldn't imagine him doing a good north side accent...
