Hey, i'm probably getting a nokia n80 for christmas and am wondering if i could connect to the college wireless network with it. Would i have to present myself to iss or anything?

Hope i can connect, free internet during lectures sounds wonderful!

You need to be running XP Pro or 2000 Pro, don't think the N80 runs an operating system like that so pretty sure ISS will say no. You won't be able to connect without them giving you permission as they require your MAC address, and AFAIK their policy precludes non-computer machines.

You need to be able to join a domain to get on the wireless... So I doubt it.

only way i can think of unless they let ye is to tell them the wrong mac address when you apply for the wireless for a laptop, the N91's Wifi supports 802.1x authentication so the N80 probally does too so ye can auth and use the network if they let ye...

EDIT : Apparently not, thought there was some kind of domain related thing required
