i think the details below are correct, or near enough.

    blinds 300-600,

    Hero is TIGHT.
Villain 1 (sb) is short stacked but tight, taken a bad beat an orbit before.
Villain 2 (bb) is loose enough.

    Hero 12k
    Villain 1: 4,100
    Villain 2: covers both.

folded around to hero in the cut off who makes it 1800 with JJ. This is the standard raise for this level.

Villain 1, sb, pushes for 4100.
    Villain 2, bb, calls instantly...

    my move???

    Whats the adverage stack?

I'd fold tbh. JJ isnt always a great hand to hold up again 2 opponents. especially when the've likely got to have high cards.

Has to be a fold. You still have plenty of chips.
Best case your looking at an under pair and 2 overcards. Worst case your looking at an overpair and drawing to 2 cards. Even if they both have just overcards you have to dodge a lot of bullets.

I'd usually agree, but its only another 2300 into a pot of 10K..

Tbh, I'd probably call to see a flop. Could be the wrong play but since we're getting just over 4/1 on our call I know I'd be tempted to.

Pushing is always an option but depends on if villain 2 is inclined to call, since he called the first push quickly (as the OP said) he may be inclined to call our push which is something we don't particularly want.

Yea i agree with the pot odds there, but i still think you behind and you'll need to improve
Its calling 1/3 of your stack.

If your not gonna fold it, go all in.

Also, if you go al in it is most likely to be a three way with a lot of things to dodge.
think it is too much of a % of your stack to just call and hope for a jack.
Plus, don't you know Jacks are cursed? I throw away.
one of them may have AA, QQ, KK, which is mostly the tight one and say a j k x comes on the flop, what do you do?

Folding here is out of the question imo. I'm either calling or moving all-in.

Calling isn't so bad as you have position on the BB and he is not likely to bluff you on the flop with a player all-in. I'd be tempted to just call and re-evaluate on the flop.

Naturally if the BB is the type of player who will call your all-in with a wide range of hands I move in now.

    ADDITIONAL INFO:

average stack at the time is about 17k
    Hero is LuckyLloyd
    Villain 2 is bob battersby.
(dealer was bobba-fett for those who care!! :p )

I'll post results of the hand later, i'm sure Lloyd will elaborate on the hand but he's busy today with the final table.

    For me its a fold...

4-1 is too compelling. Your guaranteed a flop for the additional 2k odd. You have position. You may not need outs, you will still have a playable stack.

You don't necessarily need to hit a J, a low flop could be good enough. Its a good chance to more then double your stack.

I'm calling here and re-evaluating on flop.

I call. Your almost getting the right odds to call even if you are against two overpairs. This is not calling off 1/3 of your stack, youve already committed some chips with you raise.

My standard line... On the flop fold to any bet the BB makes. Push if checked to on a <T-high flop. Otherwise check it down.

    Easiest shove ever vs Bob.

this bob guy has a good reputation

id call to see a flop, odds too good to pass up

There is no way you should fold such a bet against Bob. He could have anything. Also there is no point simply calling as even if the flop is completely low and bob doesnt have any of it he will STILL call a bet on the flop.
Against Bad Bob the only option is a shove and if you get dogged so be it.
    Did he have AA :)

I made the same mistake I have made upteem times before. I asked Bob how he was getting on. This always leads to a 20 minute ramble about some vague hands in which he uses Bob logic and can't hear or understand when he does, any points that I make to him, so I usually just nod and agree while trying frantically to look for a good exit point. I do still ike Bob though even though he is a mad player.
