    You generally wouldn't "open" one as they are binary files. They are often for firmware upgrades and the like.
    Why do you want to open it?

    Could also be a CD Image, bin and cue ?

    Any idea on filesize ?

    If its big, try mounting it with daemon tools or something, maybe even winrar.

    If it's a video file, VLC player will open it. www.videolan.org I think.

    I think ISObuster allows you to open files, give it a google and it should tell you what it does on the tin. Very useful program to have either way :D
