I can't seem to view my statements on Sky! I got a standard Thomson box. Everytime I try to view my statements it says it will dial a freephone number and when I press select it says "Some Online Services are only available in the UK".
I got sky installed 6 montsh ago. Is this common or is it only me? :o

As far as I know this never worked in Ireland.

Why they hell does Sky give us this option then!? I called Sky and told them to post paper statements and they say it's not possible but you can view it online and when I try online it says the above!

    EDIT:
Here is the email they sent after I spoke to Sky.

Sky has stopped sending out paper statements, as they are now available through your digibox. I have included the procedure to access the statements below:

    1. Press the Interactive button on your remote control

    2. From this menu use your arrow key to highlight ‘Sky Customer Service’ and press select

    3. Highlight ‘View Your Sky Statement’ using your arrow key and press select

    4. For your own privacy, you will then be asked to select a 4-digit PIN number (of your choice) then press select. Each time you enter this service, you will be asked to enter your PIN number.

You will then be able to go on-line and view your statements. (You will not be charged for this call).

They frequently in CS don't realise Ireland (the bit without post codes) isn't just like N.I. (The bit with UK post codes).

If An Post ever issue the "secret" irish postcodes, then they'll get really confused.

    It doesn't work here.
