used small diesel

Hi, Can anyone tell me what choices I have if i want a 1.4-1.6 diesel for around €4K? So far I've seen the citroen saxo 1.4D(around '97) and I know that VW do a polo 1.4Diesel, though they are a bit above my price range. Also I came across a 1.5l mazda 323. Is there much else I can take a look at?

Apologies if this has been covered before, I did a search and it turned up nothing.

you could get a Peugeot 106 1.5D or a Renault Clio also 1.5D.

Mazda 323 1.5 diesel? Jap import surely?

Or you could buy a 220,000 mile 16 year old 1.6 Jetta for €1,200. How optimistic can some people be?!

Seat sell the Ibiza in 1.4 TDi which is basically a cheaper Polo. Tbh €4k is going to get you one with high mileage.

Also look at the Peugeot 206 1.4 HDi.
