OK well basically I was out in my local night club last weekend-Had on jeans and a red corset! Now i normally dont wear them cos im very self cautious about my body-But on this occasion i said "**** it"

Anyway during the night a foreign guy approached me and my friends-Asked if he could take a pic of us-We were drunk and happy so we said ok whats the harm-He took it-and off he went!!

So anyway went to work Monday morning-and people were sniggering at me all day-I didnt know what was going on so I eventually got pissed off and demanded to know what was so funny!

The gave me a URL and told me to look at it-It was basically an escort service website- and on the front page was me! In my corset-Holding up my drink looking all drunk and Happy!Apparantly my name is Linda and Im Sweedish and I was available for Dates etc at 150- 400euro.

I went MENTAL-now everyone thinks im an escort-The whole towns talking about it!My workmates-My boss-Even my dad heard-and my nan nearly has a stroke when the nosy bitch who owns the local pub told her!

My mates said these websites sometimes stick up pics of attractive girls to get customers in and cos i let him take my photo its up to him what he does with it!That cant be right!Cant I do something-I thought he was a snap happy tourist and now my pics up online and the whole town thinks im a hooker!!!

A foreign guy takes a photo of you and then one or two days later your workmates suddenly know the URL? This sounds rather fishy.

Forgive me for being skeptical, but it sounds a little convenient. How did they find out at work? Why were they looking at such sites at work? Who told the whole town?

I'll avoid the joke about me being angry for paying 150 Euro and it wasn't you. The photographer still needs your permission to post your picture advertising any kind of service, however, to stop them you will need either the services of a solicitor (that'll cost) or someone good at breaking into websites

I totally agree that this sounds fishy. You get your pic taken by a stranger and next thing your colleagues see you up on an escort site?? A bit of a coincidence!

If it isn't fishy, the only thing I can think of that could have happened is that the foreign guy is a real con artist and that some bloke in your office was actually looking at the website for real and when he saw you on it, couldn't help but tell someone. No one would expect to see someone they know on there, so the temptation for him to say something would be too great to resist. No one would question what he was doing on there in the first place because the gossip was so juicy.

Try find out who initially saw this and spread it around!!

That sounds like some crazy town for that to spread so quickly around the place! As for the one who told your nan, SHE NEEDS A GOOD SLAP!!!!:mad:

Get a solictor, and sue the site for defamation of your character, and also sue the photographer for using a photo of you without your written consent, tbh.

considering so many in your town know, and therefore you'd just like to change their minds and for everyone to know the truth, i'd suggest you contact your local paper to run a story on the incident. this is set the story straight as well as warn local women of this type of thing happening to them. it'll be embarassing, yes, but at least it'll give you back your dignity and help other women from the same thing happening to them.
