A friend asked me to help her buy a flatscreen TV. I don't actually know how big a screen she wants or how much she is going to spend, but can anyone give me some advice of what shops in Dublin are good value and are worth visiting, and which ones are a ripp off that I should stay clear of etc.

I was up in Carrickmines and they have Curry's and PC World briefly today, very large selection look like some good deals. WHat about DID or Power City?

    Recommendations Please?

Currys would be the best bet, better selection and prices okish.

Power City if you want cheap crap.

You'd get a better responce here and I'd check out the net shops before I'd go to currys
