New MSN v 6.1 not working

I've just rebuilt my whole system. Before I did anything else to it, I uninstalled unnecessary language packs, and deleted a number of fonts which aren't necessessary. But now the new version of MSN Messenger:Mac isn't working. I can't run the file after I drag it from the .dmg to the Applications folder. Has anyone else…
