my sky+ and multiroom not picking up some channels

    does anyone know this problem..
    all channels fine but on

    itv 1,2,4
    e4+1,more4,film4 and +1
    rte1,rte2,tv3,tg4

    im getting no signal message.

    had lnb replaced and tested different box
    and cables...

    still no change.

    Is there any joints in the cable?

    If not, I'd say alignment, or another faulty LNB, though sway more to Alignment.

    both have been changed...
    lnb 3 times.

    Is this an intermittent problem or 100% just wont work ?

    When did this all start to happen, from first installation or when you upgraded to multiroom ?
    Did you do these installations yourself ?
    Are you using a sky dish or other ?
    Has your dish got a 100% clear line of sight ?

    Are you also missing BBC channels ?

    bit of both, well that narrows it down :confused:

    I can only guess, due to the fact that you only answered one question, your BBC is also messed up, that its either one of two things , one as @Watty says the dish is just out of alignment, or two the boom arm got pushed/bent to one side when the quad lnb was fitted, persuming it was fitted correctly within the holder.

    The signal graphic bars, within the menus are mearly just a guide and there levels are specific to one frequency. Regardless of the bars, your problem is that your missing Astra2D channels, Astra2D is the weakest satellite transmitting these channels to your dish, if your dish is out of sharpe or alignment, it produces these kinds of problems and or more channel loss in bad weather.
