2/4 PPP Cash game hand

Just sat down at table 5 handed I have 300 others between 75 and 600

dealt A 6 on first hand UTG raise to 14 to get a feel for table....everyone folds.

Next hand I get QQ as BB 2 calls from UTG (about 400) and a.n other. I raise to 14 again (comments?). UTG calls an other folds.

Flop 10 K A rainbow.

I check (comments?)
Villian checks.

turn blank completes rainbow. I pot expecting to be ahead here.(comments?)

Villian flat calls.

River Q.

What if it is a larger than pot bet? Fold?

Surely if we bet/fold we are turning our own hand into a bluff while with check call we have at least a bluff catcher

we are only worried about UTG having a J nothing preflop suggests a premium pair

I also bet flop

We bet, he calls w/ 2 pair, maybe even one pair, he raises with any J.
We check, he might check behind with a lot of the hands he would call a bet with. He will definately bet a jack though.

Hence c/c loses value.

after a preflop raise and a psb on that board people would expect a call from two pair possibly one?

Looking at this I guess it is deffo the best line.

I got it half right....

I bet pot - got min raised and made crying call........

Just could not put him on a J other than JJ or QJ - and he would have had to have the case Q to have JQ so JJ AA KK were the only hands I was afraid of....

He had J 6 - but in his defense they were sooted:)

Edit: Probably better suited to BB sticky but if I put it there I would probably still be confused as to the best line....
