hello, im currently doing a BA in ucd with the view to move onto 2nd level teaching. I am currently studying History,Geography and Economics. Under the new modular system i picked them as all major which meant i did 10 credits of each of them this semester. My plan was always to drop Economics after 2nd year as i am almost certain i can teach Business Studies to j.c. level with that. However I am really finding economics difficult and am losing interest. With this new system i have the option to drop the other 10 credits of economics which are scheduled for next semester and to replace them with something else. If i were to choose this i would have done a minor in Economics. My question is, if i drop it will i be able to teach junior cert Business Studies? Thank you for your time
