    Hi all
just got a nearly new sky digibox from ebay a PACE DS430N (upgraded 2600)
we had previous grundig box set up for two red eyes kitchen and bedroom, but with this new box whenever we plug in the terestral arial into the sky box
we have problems it seems as if we can either have good terestral tv and no sky or sky and no terestral channels. Any ideas?????

Is it the fact that the sky box is from UK and Irish terestral channels are on different signal
    Appreciate any help
    Mags

Retune its Modulator RF channel on "hidden" install menu

    Services 4 0 1 Select

The default is 68 (TG4 channel) but may have been changed to anything.

    NO.
    There is no such thing.
See what it is like with the aerial disconnected, if you get Sky OK.
If yes the the Sky digibox RF in /RF out is overloading and a 6dB attenuator is needed.
    Else
    The rf modulator is faulty.

You can use an old VHS that is no use for playing tapes:
Tv aerial to RF in on VHS
and a "amplifier sky eye bypass" from VHS RF out to Sky RF2
Sky VCR SCART to VHS SCART in
