If you want to get in next year get your diary ready

The Glastonbury Festival have revealed details of when ticket will be going on sale for next year's event.

Similarly to previous years, tickets for the three-day event at Worthy Farm, Pilton will be sold on a Sunday and are expected to go on sale at the beginning of April.

A spokesperson for the festival told NME.COM: "We have put forward proposals for the festival to take place over the weekend of June 22-24. We haven't set a date for tickets to go on sale yet but it is likely to be the first week of April. These are only the proposed dates at this stage and all depend on whether the licence goes through."

Although no official ticket date has been confirmed, it's expected that tickets will go on sale on April 1 from 9am.

Ticket prices and details of how they will be sold are still to be set but it is likely to include a pre-registration process and photo ID will be required to enter the site.

I try to keep my mind off Glasto cos the thought of not getting tickets is just unbearable
Supposedly they are hoping to have a good bit of extra space for camping this year which means more tickets yay!

Went to Roskilde this year which I loved, but I think it will be Glasto next year. I remember getting my 2005 ticket thanks to a link someone posted here in those early hours.

    Boss man wont be playing
