Ive seen a few posts about people looking to refere friends to sky and it seems like its a bit of a grey area so first ill say what i was thinking of doing and the mods can tell me if i've to take it down or not

Basically its the free sky+ box and the 3 months half price and reduced box for them ... but ill also paypal 20euro's to who ever is the friend so that way im helping to pay for there sky+ box aswell

So like its more of a sweet deal and its not like one person is exploiting another or anything like that... so sure let me know if i can run with this and try find a friend or wither i should take it down. Thanks
    Paul

My friend to sign-up for this deal (he was the one I was introducing).

When he called up, he was told it would be €149 for sky+ under the deal (we though the ad clearly says €69 for the sky+ box). But...the operator offered him a sky+ box for €69 with the 1/2 price sub if he opted away from the introduce a friend deal. You can guess which option my friend took.

It seems like Sky (or maybe just the sales team) are deterring world-be friends from the introduce a friend deal....scam artists.
However, there is good new - take a looks at this thread:

It's mostly helping Sky. It's called marketing. Sky don't pay me or boards.ie so I don't like it. PM anyone if you like if they like you.
