My main superstition is that I always have to take off my left shoe and put it on my head when I am all in.

    K4 never loses
I think I have seen it lose once. I may be mistaken though.

Must sit on left hand side of screen, the righthand side is evil.

Must never have a cigarette whilst playing, it brings bad luck. (Nicorette is fine though).

At the start of an STT, must click the 'Show Avatars' button for 5 seconds.

I try to avoid getting involved with someone with the same avatar as me.

At least once a week I must log-on, but not play - the software will be kind to me the next time I play.

If I win an STT I must raise my left fist in the air and shout 'Get in there' (I forgot to do this once, and it led to my 66 game streak without a win).

Other than that... No, I've no superstitions.

ffs, you shouldn't have let this slip - very few people have come to realise the infinite dogging power of K4, particularly of the offsuit persuasion. I recall trebling up in a Fitz cash game all-in preflop (100ish) versus AK and KQ, K4 is quite the monster.

how are the Sydney casinos treating you Spectre?

There is only one Casino and the poker action is dire to say the least. There is a NL game with blinds of 5/5 and a max buyin of $200! In other words there is no post flop betting, way too much luck involved, the only edge available is got by punishing people for their preflop mistakes. The rake is disgusting, they take a dollar off everyone before the cards are dealt, nothing short of larceny. I won't be returning any time soon.

We have an apartment complete with internet access now so I can now get my fix from the online variety. I see you're back playing online again, I knew you'd come back...... they always come back

LOL, have I been playing with you?
online between 11-12pm last few nights, it's amazing what you'll do to break up the nappy changing/feeding routines

No, I just assumed you were playing seeing as you posted that flopped quads hand. I am planning an assault on 2/4 shortly though

Also, to end a bad run of cards take the tick off the "Auto Post Blinds" box. The software, in it's infinite wisdom, detects you are about to log off and, in a bid to entice you back, increases your chances of getting good cards (such as k4os) by 200%.

Every STT i play i must sit in the same seat (top rightish of screen). If the table has one occupant and they are on that seat i leave and sit at another (or else shout abuse tellin him that it was reserved :D ).

I hope you all realise that its unlucky to be superstitious. I increased my profits by 20% after dropping my superstitions.

I never sit in seat 5 on Tribeca short-handed cash tables.

For all you seatphobes, play more on Stars or other sites that allow you to choose where on the screen you are positioned.

But you do know its bad luck to change seats..dont you:D

Ive always wondered about picking my seat, you know when getting muck hands and the fellow next to you is getting AA,KK,AK while your getting 46o, so i begin to think if i had sat in his seat i would be doubling up instead of watching my stack dwindle away. I also have a phobia of Queens, whenever i seem to get 2 or more queens i either double up or lose my stack theres no in between. Maybe im just sexist because ive no problems with KK.

If anyone says "just hope an X (where X is the one outer needed for my opp) doesn't come out" it always does

I always try and sit in seat 1 in Stts, if seat 1 isn't available I take the closest available seat.

If I'm all-in and multi-tabling I have to have that table open when the community cards come down or I'll lose.

If I get two big pocket pairs in a row, or I've just won a hand where I was all-in and I get a big pocket pair in the next one, I'll lose the 2nd hand.

I allways sit in the same seat 6 handed on tribeca, wont start a game unless i'm sitting there.

I get worried anytime I flop the nuts

I always make sure the value on the chip is facing up, if there is no value and boths sides of the chip have a differant image or logo, I make sure the same logo is facing up on every chip.

Started as I was card dead in a tournay a year ago started playing with the chips put them all the same way round and boom cards left right and centre.....

It gets messy late on in tournaments so when that rarity happens.. I can let it go if its starting to distract me.

Dont know if it is superstition or what but I lose 4 out of 5 times on AA no matter what strategy I play...Bet big preflop, slow play, bet big post flop, etc. Not sure how I can lose so ofetn with them but it is scary the amount of all ins I have lost with them. I would say losing on AA account for 15-20% of my loses EVER in Online poker.

If I am at a tournament and running well then I allways use the same urinal in the jacks, if I get unlucky in a pot I switch urinals next time I have to pee, I also try to wash my hands at the same tap.

yes I have some OCD tendancies.

I get worried when I flop the nut flush draw and an inside nut straight draw. I know I'm going to lose alot of money in the hand.
