I was thinking of picking up a 360 but I'm living in Germany. Does the console come with language options for the menus/settings/manuals or would I be safer getting one when I'm back in Ireland?

And what about games, do (m)any come with language options?

Yeah it comes with language options. I have a Japanese console and the menus are fully English.

Not sure about the games for Germany.

Also. is Germany 220v or 100v? you will have to watch for that. and ensure that they are PAL which they more then likely are.

Germany is the same as Ireland for voltage. Dreamcast and ps2 work fine here. Good to know about the console, thanks.

Not so worried about the games, easy enough to import. Prob have to do this anyway as they are picking up a worring trend of banning games. Gears of war is the latest :(
