Dublin Bus driver - Best way of making a complaint

Last night at 6.10pm I got to the 38/A bus stop at St. Peters Church in Phibsborough. I was waiting to get the 38A to Mulhuddart. A 38A leaves Hawkins St at 6.00pm and usually takes around 20/25 minutes to get to the stop where I was.

Anyway up till 6.40pm there was no bus.. Traffic is busy on Thursday(late night shopping etc) so I wasnt too worried. I was the only person waiting at the stop then an elderly couple came along. At 6.45pm a 38A arrived but stopped at the 120 bus stop(about 20 feet away from where we were). I figured that this was because the bus was fairly packed and the driver wanted to see how many people were getting off before she decided if she could fit us onto the bus.. that fair enough.

I counted 7 people getting off the bus, as the last person got off a person who had been running to the stop from Phibsborough direction got to the bus and the driver let him on. Next thing the driver gets to our stop and just drove off.. I was fuming.. Im not letting this one go.. Too many times I have been left wating at bus stops cos either a bus didnt arrive or not enough buses came.

Case in point. I waited on the quays on Wednesday night for a 39 to Blanchardstown.. From 6pm till 7pm only three 39's passed all full up.. The bus service is getting really bad in this city and Im fed up giving out about it but not actually complaining to the correct people.

So my question is.. in relation to the bus driver last ngiht.. should i get onto the garage or Dublin Bus head office.. should i write, phone or email???

    Thanks in advance.

I would contact Phibsborough garage. If you get the run around I would contact the minister for transport martin cullen as if you call DB they will make up any excure to get rid of you.

I admire your naive idealism...."complaints department", "customer service" LOL
