Anyone there know of a site that provides UK magazine subscriptions to Ireland on teh cheap? All the sites I checked slap on a heavy mark-up over what our British neighbours get to pay, though that's to be expected.

Also, same question for US mag subscriptions... any hope? Prices over there are ridiculously cheap I must say; your typical yearly subscription is $20 or thereabouts.

BBC offer subscription magazines, Topgear, gardening, cooking etc and there is no extra cost for postage to EIRE.

For some reason the Brits seem to want to fleece us completely for magazine subscriptions. I was comparing 5 mags that I buy regularly, thinking i would save some cash. I was shocked to find that 3 of the 5 worked out substantially more expensive (around 25% in one case) than buying in the shops here. One (Outdoor Photographer) worked out as a reasonably good deal for a 2 year sub. Only Amateur Photographer worked out substantially cheaper. If they can do it, I don't see what the others problem is.

Still significantly more then what the Brits have to pay.

Here's one that might do the job: http://www.subscription-service.co.uk/
These prices are for delivery to a U.K. addess only. If you are living in
another European country it is most probable we can quote you a favourable
rate. Just send us an e-mail to find out.

This is the student website for the previous company, slightly cheaper: http://www.studentsubscriptions.co.uk/

My subscription to Newsweek was only €0.88 per magazine compared to €4.10 in the shops, found it in an offer thing that was stapled into the magazine.

Thats about 21 euro, good mag too.
I used to get the US edition of FHM ,thats $23 per year for 12 issues.
Its not a bad read, bit trashy but for €16 a year I didnt complain.
