What was i thinking. End of a hard day, almost empty tank. Managed to put about 2l in the tank before i copped and filled the rest of the tank with petrol.

So basically i have a mix of about 2l of diesel in a 15-17l tank. I was able to drive home about 1.2m away without cutting out.

Now what do i do? Am i safe enough to drive or what should i do? I drive a deauville so i dont even know where the petrol lines are on the thing! HELP!

If it was me, I wouldnt drive it. Turn it upside down and pour the diesel out.:D ..... sorry, couldnt help meself.
I dont know the Deauville, does it have one or two tanks? If it has only one upper tank it shouldnt be too big a deal to take it off and drain it. Maybe a bolt or two (maybe a long pin) under the seat, and two up near the handle bars??
Or.. how about tryin to syphon the diesel out?

Shouldnt be to big a job. Worst part is gettin rid of the stuff you drain!
just take ur time and dont scratch the tank;)
