Kids dont come with instructions and all parents have their kids best interests at heart.
Parents 'best interest' may have been Grandparents 'best interest' or the complete opposite.
Society: Expectations, values, rules and laws are different.
Todays children have rights, are better educated and answer back.
Each child is different, with different needs appropriate to developmental age including cognative ability.
We can all be parents without being taught! pending the right or wrong outcome. One sure thing is that behaviour managment skills is a must in any circumstance.
