Stupid Q - where do I find my XP S/N?

Going to format my PC and re-install XP. Trouble is I only have the Dell XP re-installation CD, minus the envelope displaying the s/n. How do I find out what XP s/n my PC has? Cheers!

All Dell PC's have a sticker on them with the Windows XP S/N on it
