    Personally I love Lansdowne Road, I love going there, standing in the terrace rain or shine and soaking up the place. There is such a unique feeling about the place. I'll miss it. Sunday is the last international and there's only 39 days until the last game. Last Sunday was great - 'The Fields' echoing around the grey stone. I would like to hear peoples favourite and worst moments in Lansdowne Road over the years. Heres mine...

    Good memories:
    Gordon Hamiltons try against Australia - I thought he wouldn't make it.
    Keith Wood going over against England right in front of me.
    Of course there is all those Schools Cup final memories - Terenure beating rivals Mary's 3-0 a few years ago
    Cillian DeGascuns great try in a final years before that.
    Brent Pope getting his marching orders against Young Munster. Brian Robinsons great four tries.
    Last Sunday in the pouring rain and the Fields being sung at full blast.
    Meeting the Aussie team in 1995 after a Leinster game.
    Getting a tour of the changing room last year before the USA game.

    Bad memories:
    Michael Lynagh ging over in the last minute to deny Ireland a game against the All Blacks in the World Cup.
    Leinster's no show against Perpingnan.

    I'm sure there's lots more easier to remeber the good ones.

    its not really going anwhere , location remains , just been updated for 21st century !

    Anyway :-

    Good :-

    The reception for Roy Keane on his return to the fold ;

    Beating Spain 1-0 in '89 World Cup

    Simon Geoghan and Mick Galwey beating england in '93 ;

    Michael Kiernan drop goal in '85 to win triple crown !

    Watching an Irish team play great rugby , as in now !

    Bad :-
    Getting dumped in a schools quarter final in Donnybrook , so never got to play Lansdowne !

    Getting hammered by Austria in '95 , missin Euro '96 .

    Abondened freindly against England in '95 , when the animals came to town !.

    Losing every match to Scotland it seams in the ninties .

    That's a lie! I recall the most boring 5 Nations match in known history where we drew 6-all. The crowd was quiet in Irishtown on that day, let it be stricken from the records.

    fave memory was beating Eng as they lost the final game to succesive Celtic opposition in their quest for the Grand Slam. Seeing Martin receiving the cup for the 5 Nations (do I remeber right? 5 only at this time ) with a huge scowl at the loss of the game and the Grand Slam glory again on the last day!!

    tee hee hee hee.:D

    One of my favourite memories was the first rugby match I saw live (yeah i started late, shut up :P) - Ireland vs. the barbarians where we were leading until Neil Jenkins was brought on and destroyed us with his kicking - I was upset we lost - but by god watching that man kick was amazing....

    Good (not including those already mentioned):

    Seeing my school (DLSC) win two LSCs
    Watching the Barbarians play SA and Simon Geoghegan's god like performance
    The opening of the East Stand

    Bad:

    Seeing Leinster fail miserably in the HC Semis in successive years (and the qf against Perpignan)
    The invasion of the corporates
    Soccer being played there (you've no idea how much it pi$$es me off!)
    The England fans rioting in the West Stand
