Laptop battery flashing

    I have a Gericom laptop

    Its about 2 and a half years old

    The battery still works fine [lasts around 90 minutes] but the indicator light is constantly flashing red and its infuriating. It flashes red even when its plugged in.

    Anyone know why this might be or how to prevent it?

    have you checked the manual to see what the flashing indicates?

    a piece of black tape might solve the problem :D

    Might be worth looking at the manual alright. :) If nothing, then try and let the battery discharge totally and recharge again fully.
