Also if somebody out there knows what makes the Football Manager 07 games fly by unbelievable quick.....is it the speed of your processor or the size of the RAM?

Any help for me you might have for me would be greatly appreciated!

Well games today tend to rely more on CPU usage then RAM.

/edit don't forget the GFX card although i'd image football manager will be low spec.

Tbh a 3.8 is well overkill for such a low spec game.

I can't see you having many problems although 1GB RAM is what i'd recomend as a minimum.

Why DELL? Both Komplett and Elara have good machines.
    What is your budget?
What else would you be using your computer for other than Football Manager?
    Video manipulation?
    Graphic work?
Just word processing / simple browsing and email?
Any other games that you play?

FM likes ram, lots of ram. A decent processor will help too. It all depends on the size of the database you want to have and how many leagues you run.

The pc kaizersoze linked to would work fine.

1-- If you have broadband dont bother getting a overpriced 56k modem.

2--- First is a burner, second is a reader and burner. Reader and burner are handy if you like to copy thing direct from one cd/dvd to the other.
