scare card, odd play

$99 rebuy, 10K GTD on tribeca

Villain has been very active since he moved to the table (about 10 hands previously). He is chip leader in tourny by a mile, has played about 5 of the 10 hands and has only lost 1 of them when a guy showed a set.

I am coming 5th out of 60 or so players.

    Stacks
    Hero: 7k
    Villain: 14k

    Pre-flop
    1 limper UTG+2
Folded around to Villain in the cut off who limps
    Hero completes with K5o
    BB checks

    4 players for a flop (800) Kc 6s 3c

Hero checks, BB checks, UTG+2 checks
    Villain bets pot, 800
    Hero calls 800
    BB folds
    UTG+2 folds

    Turn (2400) 4c - the scare card
    Hero checks
Villain bets 3,200  - the odd play
    Hero?

I fold every time here Niall, when you flat call his 800 bet on the flop he would have to have a flush draw in your range, and now he is prepared to make a bet on the turn which commits him to call an all in with any good club or a king. I dont think you need to get jiggy here.

If I were you I would have bet that turn card full pot, checking makes every decision from then on difficult.

if he makes a pot sized bet on the turn then he has 3,400 of his 7k in the middle
which is down the drain if the guy pushes

at the moment he's not committed to the pot, is check folding the turn not more sensible when he still has 6k left??? no need to get involved in a big pot here imo
